I am going to post a few more photos from Seattle Trips, this one from 2010. Jaime and I try to head north at the end of May each year, to attend two amazing festivals in this amazing city!
First is the Northwest Folklife Festival, featuring all kinds of performances and workshops featuring music, dance and culture from around the world

Saw a wonderful show last night at the Catalyst, featuring an amazing French folksinger, Marianne Aya Omac http://www.marianneayaomac.com who has years of performing on the streets of Southern France. American folk goddess, Joan Baez http://www.joanbaez.com/ met her in France, and invited her to tour with her here in the US. It is an amazing collaboration! Aya Omac sings in French, Spanish, and English, and plays great guitar as well! It also seemed to me that she does some lyrical improvasation too! Fantastic to experience live!
