Maybe The Welders teve sucesso decisivo já em sua estréia no lendário clube CBGB e iniciou sua trajetória tocando nos pontos mais importantes da cena independente de NY, como Continental, Sibéria, Sin-E e R Bar. Em 2007, quando caiu na estrada com shows em New England, o promotor e crítico de rock de Boston Martin Doyle proclamou Maybe the Welders “a maior banda de pub rock moderno do mundo!”
